Lillian Anna Fischer, 90, of Pittsburg, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014, at the Via Christi Hospital. She was born June 13, 1924, at Renville, MN, the daughter of Frank and Antonia (Sembaur) Wohnoutka. On December 27, 1945, she was united in marriage to Joseph Fischer. He preceded her in death on October 24, 2012. Lillian was a homemaker and lived in California for over 70 years. She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Fischer and her partner, Cynthia Allan of Pittsburg, KS; four grandchildren, Kati Vicuna of Sioux Falls, SD, Kari Cecil of Sioux Falls, SD, Kaci Dahl of Sioux Falls, SD, and Kali Stafford of Girard, KS; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings Mary Chan, Frank, Joseph, William, Emil, George, Miloyd, Edward and Cecelia Wlock. No services are planned at this time. A private family burial will take place at a later date in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, at Bechyn, MN. The family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. These may be left at or mailed to the Brenner Mortuary, 114 East 4th St., Pittsburg, KS 66762. Friends may leave condolences online at www.brennermortuary.com.
