Hans Svendsen, 74, Newfolden, is Interred Friday
Funeral services for Hans Svendsen, 74, lifetime Newfolden resident, were held Friday afternoon at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at Newfolden with Rev. Loren Nielsen officiating. He died May 8 at Thief River Falls hospital.
Interment was made in Folden Cemetery. Pallbearers were Luverne Knutson, Lester Olson, Bernhard Nelson, John Lokstad, Marshall Myher and Harold Hansen.
Mr. Svendsen, a son of the late Brede and Nathalia Svendsen, was born May 22, 1892 in Newfolden Township. He grew to manhood there and never married. He is survived by two brothers and four sisters, Norris and Oscar Svendsen, Mrs. Hans (Helga) Hanson, Mrs. Emma Hanson and Mrs. Mary Pilon all of Newfolden and Mrs. Agnes Setterholm of Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Warren Sheaf, May 17, 1967
