Margaret M Buck, 84, State Center, died Saturday, November 13, at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center.

Services were held Tuesday, November 16 at St Paul Lutheran Church. Reverend Mark Holmes officiating. Burial followed at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

She was born April 16, 1904 in State Center, the daughter of William and Caroline Richerodt Schuler. She was raised and educated in State Center and lived there her entire life. She had been employed by the State Center school system and the State Center Manor.

She married George Buck on August 26, 1920 in State Center.

She was a member of the St Paul Lutheran Church and the ALCW of the church, a 50 year member of the Cleo Chapter of OES and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in State Center.

Survivors include six children, Arlene Lander of Marshalltown, Vernice Silveria of Fremont, California, Merle Buck of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Earl Buck of Ames, Daniel Buck of State Center and Karen McCargar of Marshalltown; 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, one brother, William Schuler of State Center and one sister, Velma Loney of State Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, two sisters, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
