Mrs Hazel Greiner, 74, died Saturday morning at the Bryant Nursing Home where she had been a patient for the past three weeks. She had been in failing health for the last two years.

She was born at State Center May 24, 1899, the daughter of William and Carolyn Richerodt Schuler. She received her education in the State Center schools.

She married Harry Greiner August 6, 1918 at State Center. They farmed in Story county until moving to State Center in 1940. She was a member of the St Paul Lutheran Church.

Her husband preceded her in death, also a daughter in infancy and three brothers.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Fred (Dorothy) Weuve, Nevada; three sisters, Mrs Margaret Buck, Mrs Kenneth (Velma) Loney and Miss Mildred Schuler, all of State Center, one brother, William Schuler of State Center, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at the St Paul Lutheran Church with the Rev L R Meinecke in charge. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery.
