NORTH AUGUSTA — Mr. Eddie P. Whitfield, 84, of 265 Sudlow Lake Road, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 1994, at Augusta Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Platt's Funeral Home, with Dr. William L. Owens officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Whitfield, a native of Vidalia, Ga., was a building supply salesman. He was a member of Crawford Avenue Baptist Church and Webb Masonic Lodge No. 166, F&AM.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Whitfield; two sons, Duane A. Whitfield I, of North Augusta, and Wayne R. Whitfield, Evans, Ga.; a daughter, Eleanor Anderson, North Augusta; two brothers, Curtis Whitfield, Panama City, Fla., and A.J. Whitfield, Vidalia; a sister, Cassie Holland, Metter, Ga.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of Webb Masonic Lodge No. 166 F&AM.
