George Oltin Douglas, 73, of 105 Less Ave., Nitro, died Saturday in Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was a retired employee of Libby Owens Ford Glass Co. He attended the West Virginia Home Mission.
Surviving; wife, Madgel; sons, George O. of Grand Bay, Ala., William C. of Red House, Ralph R. at home, Clifford with the U.S. Army in Germany, Robert E. of Chesapeake; daughters, Mrs. Virginia Shinn of Smyrna, Tenn., Mrs. Esther Adkins, Mrs. Caroline Jones, both of Nitro, Mrs. Ellen Coleman of Lancaster, Ohio; brothers, Henry Douglas of Dunbar, Dennis Douglas of St. Albans, Farley Douglas of Charleston, Miner Douglas of Bancroft; half brothers, Charles douglas of Parkersburg, Albert Douglas of Poca; sisters, Mrs. Ruth Phillips, Mrs. Audrey Morris, Mrs. Virginia Mann, all of Charleston, Mrs. Gatha Thompson of Liberty, Mrs. Ina Smith of Florida; 11 grandchildren.
