Carolyn S. Jones, 70, of Nitro, left this world of trouble and sorrow for her Heavenly home, on Monday, December 17, 2018 at home.
Carolyn was a person who would do anything she could for you and loved helping people. She was a member of the West Virginia Home Mission, in Nitro, and loved her church family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Sam; her sisters, Esther McCallister and Ellen Colemen; and brothers, Ralph Douglas and Robert Douglas. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held at noon, on Thursday, December 20, at the West Virginia Home Mission, 1109 Benamati Street, Nitro, WV. Burial will follow in Emma Chapel Cemetery, in Liberty, W.Va. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon, at the church.
