Mrs. Shepperd, 34, was born in Laurens, Iowa, and was brought to Phoenix 30 years ago from Mallard, Iowa. She passed away Sunday, April 9, 1972 in Saint Lukes Hospital.

Survivors include her husband James O., three sons, Gregory, Jeff and John Jr. Marble, two daughters, Polly Marble and Teri Lyn Shepperd of Phoenix; three step-children, Wayne and Warren Shepperd and Darlene Ours of Phoenix, one step-grandchild, Ronald L. Ours Jr., her father Wayne F. Ziegler Sr, step-mother Millie Ziegler, eleven brothers, Dr. Lou Ziegler, Wayne F. Jr., Jake, George, Ted, Terry, and Joseph of Phoenix, Lee of Tucson Dean of Las Vegas, Roger of Peoria, and Rev. David Ziegler of Lamont, Calif.; five sisters, Betty Burk of Los Angeles area, Dorothy Wiltbank of Snowflake, Esther Mayfield of Fallon, Nevada, Wenda Barrett and Karen Ziegler of Phoenix; two step-brothers, Robert Benner and Marshall Sheppard of Tucson, two step-sisters, Sarita Cabanillas, and Marilyn Benner of Tucson.

Officiating, Bishop Benton L. organist, Sharon Shields; invocation, Gordon Shields. Hymn by Relief Society Chorus "It May Not Be On The Moountain Height", life story by Elder James P. Sorensen. Vocal solo by Arlene Hobson, "When Upon Life's Billows" sermon, Bishop Benton L. Blake. Hymn by Relief Society Chorus, O'My Father." Benediction by E. Arthur Patterson. Grave Dedication by Jack L. Hicks. Pallbearers; Don Hare, Don Blair, Joseph Cox, Alec Allen, Jack Hicksand and Ardell Jenkins.

Services for Mrs. Gretchen A. Shepperd will be held at 2:00pm tomorrow in the 20th Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 8710 N. 3rd Ave., Phoenix, Arizona. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery.
