PAYSON - Funeral rites for John Henry Marble, 33, killed in a logging accident Friday near Heber, will be at 10am Wednesday in the Heber Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

First Counselor Omer Gilliland of the Payson Ward of the LDS Church will officiate. Burial will be in Heber Cemetery with arrangements by Alcorn Mortuary in Holbrook.

Mr. Marble was born in Eagar and was graduated from Elementary School there before attending Round Valley High School.

He is survived by his wife, Gretchen; three sons, Gregory, Jeff and John Jr., and a daughter, Polly, all of Payson; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Marble, and a brother, Wesley, all of Joseph City, and six sisters, Mrs. Lendora Goodwin, Mrs. Eleanor Gardner, and Mrs. Mary Frank, all of Flagstaff, Mrs. Kathlene Bowler of Colton, Calif., Mrs. Lovina Bowman of Marble Canyon, and Mrs. Thelora Littleford of Joseph City.

Friends may call at the Heber Chapel from 9am until service time Wednesday.
