David served as a pastor of Nazarene churches in Lamont, Isabella and Lemoore, California. In 1976 David and Suzie moved back to Phoenix where they raised their sons David, Kenny, Johathan, and their daughter Rebecca. As a highly successful insurance agent for several decades, David was able to take his family on many fun vacations. He retired to Sun City, Arizona in 2007.
He is survived by sons David (Megan), Kenneth and Jonathan; daughter, Rebecca (Josh Frederickson); grandchildren Davidson, Gavin, Sophie, Chase and McKenzie; brothers Jake, Dean, George, Terry and Joe; sisters Esther and Wenda; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Suzanne Ziegler; brothers Lawrence, Louis, Wayne Jr., Roger and Theodore; sisters Betty, Dorothy, Gretchen and Karen.
David loved family summer vacations, camping, fishing, bowling, and attending the annual Ziegler/Ricke family reunions. He was his happiest at Christmas and Easter holidays as he enjoyed family celebrations. It is only fitting the good Lord called him home on Easter!
