Mrs. Irene R. Ziegler, 1236 E. Mountain View, a Phoenix resident 20 years, died yesterday in good Samaritan Hospital. She was 59.

Born in Albert City, Iowa, Mrs. Ziegler came to Arizona 29 years ago from Iowa.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Sr.; 11 sons, Dr. Louis Ziegler, Wayne Jr., Jake, George, Terry and Joseph all of Phoenix, Lee of Tucson, Dean of Las Vegas, Nev., Roger of Peoria, Ted of Provo, Uta, and the Rev. David Ziegler of Lamont, Calif.; six daughters, Mrs. Betty Burke of Los Angeles, Mrs. Dorothy Wiltbank of Snowflake, Mrs. Esther Mayfield of Sparks, Nev., and Mrs. Gretchen Sheppard, Mrs. Wenda Barrett and Karen Ziegler, all of Phoenix; a sister, Mrs. Marion Spavin of Mesa; two brothers, Glenn Ricke of Macartherville, Calif., and John Ricke of Tokyo, Japan; and 37 grandchildren.

Services will be at 10am Thursday in Sunnyslope Church of the Nazarene. Entombment will be in Memory Lawn Mausoleum. Friends may call at Hansen Mortuary from 6 to 9pm today and all day tomorrow.
