Karen was born in St. Johns, Arizona in 1954. She was very athletic and loved playing table games. She was especially good at puzzles. She also liked to fish, ride horses, cook and have fun! She served a mission in New Zealand, and taught herself computer skills. She was a competitive professional, who had great organizational skills and a knack for bookkeeping. One of her happiest days was the day Michelle became her daughter. Karen loved being a mother. She passed away in 1993 after a long illness.
