Jake was a great friend to all, helping many people in need during his life. He loved fishing, hunting and sports and coached little league baseball for many years. Jake was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He was married to the love of his life for 66 years. Together, he and Joyce loved to go bowling and Jake supported her in running the Canterbury Cottage in downtown Mesa. Jake also loved making furniture pieces which he also sold at Canterbury Cottage.
Jake will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Joyce Ziegler, sons, Brian Dale Ziegler, Bradley Jacob (Codie) Ziegler, Daniel Arthur (Raine) Ziegler, Dwight Ziegler, daughter, Robin Joy Campbell, 33 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Jake was preceded in death by his daughter, Roxanne and son, Bruce Wayne.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Amity building, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the services at the Eagar Cemetery.
