Wayne Faye Ziegler, Sr., 97, passed away January 2, 2006 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born in Varina, Iowa moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 1941 where he was a building contractor in Phoenix and the White Mountains. He specialized in building churches, commercial buildings and homes in these areas. He enjoyed fishing and hunting throughout Arizona.

He and his wife Irene parented 17 children.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife Irene, a son Wayne, Jr., daughters Karen Branch and Gretchen Marble Sheppard. He is survived by sons Lee, Louis, Jake, Dean, George, David, Ted, Terry and Joe, daughters Betty Burke, Dorothy Wiltbank, Esther Lamb, and Wenda Barret. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grand-children.

Visitation, Saturday, January 7, 2006, 9:00 to 10:00 A.M., with funeral service following at 10:00 A.M., Orangewood Nazarene Church, 2728 West Orangewood Avenue.
