Susan M Dalke, 93, formerly of 129 Adrian St. Wausau, died SaturdayMarch 5, 1994 at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau.
She was born May 24, 1900 in Marathon, the daugher of the late Peter and Susan (Bernhard) Fochs. She married Joseph A Dahlke on May 7, 1918 in Marathon. He died Aug 12 1976.
During the war efforts of World War II, Susan had been employed at Marathon Rubber Plan, she then was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting, crocheting baking and card playing.
Susan had been a member of St. Catherine Council of Holy Name Catholic Church, and had been a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court St. Rose.
Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Hirsch and Joyce (James) Siewert, all of Wausau; three sons, Harold "Bud" (Delores) Dahlke and Harvey (Alice) Dahlke all of Wausau, and Jerome "Joe" (Sue) Dahlke, Batesville, Mississippi; 21grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildre; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Susan Gripentrog a great-grand son and five brothers.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 1994, at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. The Rev. Norman Boneck will preside. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Marathon. Friends may call from 4:30 p.m. Wednesday until time of services at the church.
