Blanche L. Ahmann, 65, 615 24th Ave. NW, Minot, and formerly of Foxholm, died Monday, January 1, 1990, in a Minot Health Care Center. The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 4, in Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot, with Father Paul Cervinski, officiating. The graveside service was at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Foxholm. Active casketbearers were her six brothers, Everett, Tom, Delmar, John, Alvin and Duane Ahmann.

Blanche Lorraine Ahmann was born on April 12, 1924, at Foxholm ND, a daughter of Fred and Ann Ahmann. She was reared and educated there, and assisted her parents in the operation of their farm in SE. Mary's Township, Ward County, near Foxholm, until she came to Minot with her mother to live in 1971.

While at Foxholm she was member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and in Minot she belonged to Little Flower Catholic Church.

She had never married.

Surviving is her mother, Ann Ahmann of Minot; six brothers Everett and Tom, both of Foxholm Delmar of Glenburn, John of Max and Alvin and Duane, both of Minot; four sisters, Valetta Tait of Villa Park, CA, Anna Mae Pleimel of Minot, Diane Moore of Huntington Beach, CA, and Carol Olson of Burlington; and a number of nieces and nephews. Her father, one brother, Kenneth, and one sister, Wilora Cowles, preceded her in death.
