Everett Ahmann, 81, Foxholm, died Tuesday, January 21, 2003 in a Minot Medical Center.

Everett was born on February 3, 1921, in St. Mary's Township, rural Foxholm, ND, the son of Fred and Anna (Fuchs) Ahmann. He was raised on the family farm near Lake Darling in St. Mary's Township, Ward County. He attended Stammen Consolidated School, rural Foxholm and St. Leo's Elementary School in Minot. On April 10, 1947 he married Judy Anderson at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Minot. Following their marriage the couple purchased a farm in St. Mary's Township, Ward County, near Foxholm, and farmed there until his retirement in the late 1990's. He owned the "Our Bar" in Glenburn from 1980 until 1983. His wife Judy died on October 19, 1993. He moved to the Souris Valley Care Center in Velva in July of 2000.

Everett was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church rural Foxholm and St. Mary's Catholic Church, Foxholm. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Loyal Order of Moose and was a 55 year member of the Eagles Aerie #2376.

Survivors: Son, James Ahmann, Minot; brothers, Alvin Ahmann and his wife, Lorraine, Minot, Duane Ahmann and his wife, Jeanette, Minot, and Tom Ahmann and his wife Marge, Foxholm; sisters, Valetta Tait and her husband, Ken, Villa Park, California, Anna Mae Plemel and her husband, Tom , Minot, Diane Moore and her husband, Bill, Huntington Beach, California and Carol Limke and her husband LeRoy, Carpio, ND; brothers-in-law, Jack Cowles, Strawberry Lake, ND, Kenny Anderson and his wife, Lois, Glenburn and John Heilman, Minot; sisters-in-law, Donna Ahmann, Glenburn and Shirley Ahmann, Max. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy, parents, brothers, Delmar, John and Kenny, sisters, Blanche Ahmann and Willora Cowles, sister-in-law, Dorothy Ahmann.

Funeral: Saturday, January 25, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Foxholm, ND

Rosary Recitation: Friday, January 24, 2003, at 6 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Burial: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Foxholm, ND

Visitation: Friday, January 24, 2003 at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot from noon until 7 p.m..
