Chico Enterprise, Friday, September 11, 1942: "Services For Mrs. Anderson To Be Tuesday. Friends are invited to attend the funeral services Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock in the Nugent funeral home for the late Mrs. Ollie May Anderson, old-time resident of Chico and native of Dayton, who died at her home last Tuesday. Rev. Henry L. Searle, of the First Christian church will officiate. Interment will follow in the family plot of the Dayton Cemetery."

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Nugent Funeral chapel for the late Mrs. Ollie May Anderson, resident of this community all of her life. Mrs. Anderson died at her home, 963 Olive street, after a long illness. Rev. Henry L. Searle, of the First Christian church will officiate at the services. Interment will follow in the Dayton cemetery."

Many friends assembled this morning at 10 o'clock at the Nugent Funeral chapel for the services of Mrs. Ollie May Anderson, widely known resident of this community who died at her home on Olive street. The casket and chapel were banked with many beautiful floral offerings. Rev. Henry L. Searle, of the First Christian church, officiated at the servies. David Wurschmidt sang, `The Lord's Prayer' and `God Will Take Care of You.' The pallbearers were: Fabian Jenson, Albert Snider, F.S. Boucher, James Collins, Michael Fortier and Henry Fortier. Interment followed in the family plot of the Dayton cemetery."
