Jane Reed Whitney of 1632 Susek Drive, Pineville, died at 1:15 p.m. Friday in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. She was the co-owner of Alexandria Music Sales, a member of American Association of Retired Person, a member of Homemakers of Edgewood Drive, and a member of First Church of God, Lena.
Survivors include Allen N. Whitney of Pineville; two sons, Leonard A. Michiels of Alexandria and Gary W. Michiels of Meridian, Miss.; one daughter, Allison Lee Watts of Columbia, Miss.; three sisters, Audrey R. Watson, Madeline R. Crump and Gerry R. Peart, all of Alexandria; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of John Kramer and Son. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Friends may visit the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
