Mrs. Hattie Reed Holmes, 55, a resident of Rt. 1 Alexandria, died at 6:10 p.m. Thursday at the family home.
She is survived by four sons, Donald D. Holmes of the U.S. Air Force, California; Patrick W, Ronald J., and James W. Holmes, all of Alexandria; four sisters, Mrs. Jane Michiels, Mrs. Aubrey Watson, Mrs. Ray Crump and Mrs. K.C. Peart Jr., all of Alexandria; her mother, Mrs. S.V. Reed of Alexandria, and six grandchildren.
Arrangements for funeral services to be held in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic church, are incomplete. Burial will be in Alexandria Memorial Gardens.
Rosary will be recited at 8 tonight in the chapel of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home.
