Albert Joseph Michiels, 56, a resident of 3125 Peach street, died at 3:06 p.m. Sunday in an Alexandria hospital. He was a baker at Cotton Bros. Baking Co.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jane Michiels; two sons, Gary Wayne of Alexandria, and Leonard A. Michiels of New Orleans; his mother, Mrs. Louise Michiels of Alexandria; a brother, Ambrose Michiels of Alexandria; two sisters, Mrs. O.P. Marcotte and Mrs. George L. Allen Sr. of Alexandria and a grandson, Scott Michiels of New Orleans.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic church. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park under direction of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited in Kramer's chapel at 8, tonight.
