Albert O. Roswold, age 100 years, died Friday, November 20, at the Douglas County Hospital, Alexandria. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. at the Erdahl Lutheran Church, Erdahl, Minnesota on Monday, November 23 with the Reverend George Larson officiating. Burial was in Fryksende Cemetery, Evansville. Pallbearers were: Arthur Henneman, Wilbur Lerum, Roger Johnson, Lloyd Hokanson, Walter Baldwin, and Loren Erickson.

Mr. Roswold was born March 22, 1881 in Urness Township, Douglas County, the son of Syver and Ingrid Roswold. He was a long time resident of Douglas County. He homesteaded in Ray, North Dakota for a few years before returning to the Evansville area. Albert was united in marriage to Sadie Nelson on August 7, 1917, and Mrs. Roswold passed away August 28, 1979. Albert was a member of the Erdahl Lutheran Church and was baptized and confirmed by Rev. T. A. Sattre.

He is survived by 2 sons: Orville and Adrian of Evansville and 2 daughters: Marcella and Mildred of Fergus Falls; several brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Arrangements were with the Erickson Funeral Home in Elbow Lake.
