Mrs. Albert (Sadie) Roswold, 86, Evansville died August 28, 1979 at the Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls. Funeral services for Mrs. Roswold were August 31st at the Erdahl Lutheran Church with Rev. Arthur Thorstensen Jr., officiating. Burial was in the Fryksende Cemetery, Evansville. Serving as pallbearers were Roger Johnson, Walter Baldwin, Wilbur Lerum, Bertil Frykman, Earl Erickson and Arthur Henneman.
Sadie Alvira Roswold the daughter of John and Anna Lisa Nelson was born March 19, 1893, in Urness Township. Mrs. Roswold was baptized in the Frykende Church and confirmed in the Zionsborg Church. Mrs. Roswold was graduated from the business school in Alexandria and was united in marriage to Albert O. Roswold August 7, 1912 in Alexandria.
A member of the Erdahl Lutheran Church, Mrs. Roswold was also active in the West Urness Mission Circle, the A.L.C.W. Mrs. Roswold had made her home at the Pioneer Home in Fergus Falls since June of this year. She is survived by her husband Albert of Evansville, 2 sons and 2 daughters: Orville and Adrian both of Evansville and Miss Marcella Roswold and Miss Mildred Roswold both of Fergus Falls. She was preceded in death by two sisters Mable and Genevieve. Funeral services by Erickson Funeral Home, Elbow Lake, Minnesota.
