Clara Roswold was born January 18, 1893 in Urness township, the daughter of Sivert and Inger Roswold. She grew to womanhood on the home farm and lived there until 1951 when she moved to Evansville. In 1958 she moved to Alexandria where she made her home with Mrs. Julia Hauagen.
Clara Roswold passed away Thursday, Sept. 22, 1960 at the age of 67 years. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. C. J. Richards of Monrovia, Calif., and Mrs. Ida Alberts of Santa Monica, Calif.; one brother, Albert of Evansville, and 18 nieces and nephews.
