Funeral services for Nannie L. Byrd, 98, of Franklin will be held at 10 a.m. today at Blair-Stubbs-McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.

The Rev. Eddie Mayo will officiate. Burial will be at Henry Prairie Cemetery near Franklin.

Mrs. Byrd died Monday night in a Hearne nursing home. Born in Robertson County, Mrs. Byrd was a life-long resident of Franklin and a member of Elliott Baptist Church.

Survivors include four sons, Onnie Byrd of Hearne, Leonard Byrd of Alto, John Byrd of Houston and Walter Byrd of Hubbard; three daughters, Maudean Payne of Hubbard, Lillie Mae Davis of Honey Grove and Ila Bell Hebbe of Grand Prairie; a brother, Walter Bishop of Hearne; two sisters, Minnie Hancock of Franklin and Florence Martin of Bryan; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
