Bishop, an employee of the Humble production department at Hearne for many years, transferred to Baytown refinery in 1933 and had lived at Coady since. He retired about four years ago because of ill health.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at the Paul U. Lee Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memory Gardens on Garth Road.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Laura Bishop; two sons, Herman E. Bishop of Cedar Bayou and Louie M. Bishop of Baytown; three daughters, Mrs. Leona Boatwright of Coady, Mrs. Dorothy Sheffield of Highlands and Mrs. Claudie Heffernan of Jacinto City. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.
