Kathryn Scieszinski, 65, of 26 1/2 S. Main St., died Jan. 21, at the Ottumwa Hospital.
She was born at Melrose on Sept. 3, 1915, the daughter of Frank and Mary Fitzgerald Scieszinski.
A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Albia, she had lived most of her life in Monroe County. She had worked for several years at Marycrest College in Davenport, Iowa.
Survivors include four brothers, John and Vince, both of Melrose, Ed of Albia, and Sylvester of Davenport; and one sister, Mrs. R. B. Feehan, Sr. of Melrose.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
The funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Church in Albia. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Melrose. The rosary will be 8:00 p.m. Friday at Humeston Funeral Home, Albia.
