Mrs. Scieszinski Of Melrose Dies
Mrs. Frank Scieszinski of Melrose died this morning at Lucas County Memorial Hospital in Chariton.
Mrs. Scieszinski, 86, was born Oct. 30, 1878, at Weller, the daughter of Michael and Hannah Fitzgerald.
She was preceded in death by her husband on April 3, 1962, and a son, Carl, on Sept. 29, 1963.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. James Craig of Chicago, Mrs. Robert Feehan of Melrose and Miss Kathryn Scieszinski, living at home; five sons, John and Joe of Melrose, Ed of Georgetown, Sylvester of Davenport and Vincent of Des Moines; 19 grandchildren: 27 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. James Kelleher of Albia.
The funeral will be Saturday at noon at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Melrose with Rev. Father J.J. Morrissey officiating. The rosary will be recited Friday at 8:30 p.m. at the Humeston Funeral Home.
