Ruth E. Skinner of Morrisonville Dies

Ruth E. Skinner, 79, of Morrisonville died Friday, December 8, at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville.

Survivors include six sons, Melvin, Earl, James and Donald Skinner, all of Morrisonville, Larry Skinner of Texas and Clifford Skinner of Hillsboro; six daughters, Ruby Helms and Wileen "Sue" Hendricks, both of Hillsboro, Alberta Delahunt and Sheila Skinner, both of Taylorville, Mary Grandfield of Blue Mound and Clarissa Hirtman of Decatur; 47 grandchildren; 21 step-grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; 28 step-grandchildren; three brothers, Warren Oller of Palmer, Vern Oller of Chatham and Charles Oller of Texas; and three sisters, Edith Skinner of Morrisonville, Betty Zierfuss of Rockford and Barbara Meiers of Tennessee.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 13, in First Baptist Church, Morrisonville. Burial will be in Harper's Ferry Cemetery, Palmer. Hough Colonial Funeral Home in Morrisonville is in charge of arrangements.
