He was born Feb. 14, 1926, in Morrisonville, the son of Charles and Sadie Weathers Oller. He married Marjorie Shepard in 1950 in Litchfield; she preceded him in death. Mr. Oller was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a truck driver.
Survivors, five sons, Vern A. (wife, Kathy) Oller Jr. of Morrisonville, Ronald D. (Wife, Rozie) Oller of Springfield, Steven A. (wife, Anna) Oller of Good Hope, Donald R. (wife, Cindy) Oller of Winchester and Herschel Oller (companion, Melissa) of Jacksonville; daughter, Debra Oller-Hinz of Columbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Warren Oller of Palmer, and two sisters, Betty (husband, Bob) Zierfuss of Rockford and Bobbie Meier of Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Private graveside services were held Monday in Anderson Cemetery, Palmer. Hough Funeral Home in Raymond is in charge of arrangements.
