Floyd A. Oller of Litchfield Dies:
Services for Floyd A. Oller, 61, of Litchfield were held Saturday afternoon in the Ross Funeral Home. Rev. LaVon Bayler officiated and interment was in Elm Lawn Cemetery. He died Thursday afternoon at 2:40 o'clock in the Litchfield Hospital following an illness of several months.
He was born May 26, 1909 on a farm near Harvel, a son of Charles and Sadie Weathers Oller. He married Cynthia Oller of Litchfield on November 23, 1932. They had lived in Litchfield since 1963.
Surviving with his wife is a son, Floyd L. at home, two daughters, Connie, wife of Stephen Jones of Springfield and Sharon Shaw of Litchfield with two grandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers and six sisters, Warren of Palmer, Charles of West Des Moines, Iowa, Vern of Morrisonville, Mrs. Betty List of Rockford, and Mrs. Geraldine Duncan of Fruitport, Michigan, Mrs. Barbara Meier of Litchfield and Mrs. Opal Curtis of Bloomington, Indiana.
Mr. Oller was employed at the Olin Corporation at Alton until illness forced his retirement. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Legion of the Moose and the First Baptist Church in Litchfield.
