MILDRED R. BAKER — FROSTBURG — Mildred Regina Baker, 68, of RD 2, Frostburg, Md., died Tuesday, August 31, 1982, at Frostburg Community Hospital, Frostburg.

Born on June 14, 1914, in Garrett County, Md., she was a daughter of the late Norman C. Garlitz and Rhoda Viola (Robinson) Garlitz. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer L. Garlitz, Gilbert E. Garlitz and Vernard O. Garlitz.

Mrs. Baker was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Route 40 west of Frostburg.

Surviving are her husband, Cecil R. Baker; two sisters, Pansy L. Wilson, of Vienna, Va., and Evelyn M. Winebrenner, of Frostburg; five brothers, Clarence L. Garlitz, Esco N. Garlitz, Arvil C. Garlitz and Raymond F. Garlitz, all of Frostburg, and William S. Garlitz, of Hagerstown, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home Wednesday from 2:30 to 4:30 and 7 until 9 p.m. A service will be conducted there Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with Dr. Rev. John Bayley officiating.

Interment will be in Johnson Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Eric Harman, James Garlitz, Kenneth Garlitz, Bernard Garlitz, Gary Garlitz and Kevin Garlitz.
