Born on June 4, 1905, in Frostburg, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Rhoda (Robinson) Garlitz. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by one daughter, Beverly Wilson; two sisters, Mildred Baker and Evelyn Winebrenner, and three brothers, Elmer Garlitz, Gilbert Garlitz and Vernard Garlitz.
Mrs. Wilson was raised in Frostburg and moved to Vienna in the late 1950s. She was a charter member of the Fairfax (Va.) Assembly of God Church and formerly attended the Midlothian Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Victor Wilson; one son, Delbert Wilson Sr., of Orlando, Fla.; four daughters, Charlotte Folk, of Frostburg; Wilma Phillips, of Dewitt, Va.; Sandy Price and Vicki Butler, both of Fairfax; 23 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren, and five brothers, Arvil Garlitz, Clarence Garlitz, Esco Garlitz and Raymond Garlitz, all of Frostburg, and William Garlitz, of Hagerstown, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at noon with the Rev. Dr. Earl Karl officiating.
Interment will be in Blocher Cemetery, Finzel.
The family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to the Hospice of Northern Virginia, Suite 100, 6400 Arlington Boulevard, Falls Church, Va., 22042 in memory of Pansy.
