ELMER L. GARLITZ — FROSTBURG — Elmer Leroy Garlitz, 62, of RD 2., Frostburg, Md., died Sunday, April 13, 1969.
Born on December 14, 1906, in Frostburg, he was a son of Rhoda Viola (Robinson) Garlitz, of Frostburg, and the late Norman C. Garlitz. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gilbert E. Garlitz and Vernard O. Garlitz; his paternal grandparents, George and Nancy Garlitz, and his maternal grandparents, William and Fannie Robinson.
Mr. Garlitz worked as a farm laborer on his family farm.
Surviving in addition to his mother are three sisters, Pansy L. Wilson, of Vienna, Va., Mildred R. Baker, of Salisbury, Pa., and Evelyn M. Winebrenner, of Frostburg, and five brothers, Clarence L. Garlitz, Esco N. Garlitz, Arvil C. Garlitz and Raymond F. Garlitz, all of Frostburg, and William S. Garlitz, of Hagerstown.
A funeral service will conducted at Durst Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 16, 1969, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. George Moxley officiating.
Interment will be in Blocher Cemetery, Finzel.
