WM. MACKIE'S DEATH
It Occurs Monday Morning in the Town of Nekimi
William Mackie, an old settler, who resided in the town of Nekimi for forty years last May, died Monday on his farm aged about seventy-six years. A tumor was the cause of his death. He was born in Scotland March 14, 1812, and leaves four sons, of whom two are married and two single. Of five daughters, all of whom are married, four reside in this county and one in Dakota. The funeral will be held Monday morning at two o'clock (sic) from the house, the Rev. C. B. Wilcox of the First Methodist church of this city officiating.
