Mrs. Fred W. (Betsy) Olson, 71, died at 4 a.m. today at the Waseca Memorial Hospital.
She had been ill four four days.
Death resulted from a stroke.
She was born October 2, 1884 in Waseca County, Minnesota.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burnt Evenson.
She married Fred W. Olson on December 16, 1903 at New Richland.
They live there until 1940 when they moved to Albert Lea.
He died Jan. 17, 1956.
Mrs. Olson has lived for the past two years at Good Samaritan Home.
She is survived by
Three daughters:
Mrs. Hurly ( Frieda) Knorr
Mrs. Harry (Doris) Partington
Mrs. Howard (Evelyn) Ragan
Two sons:
Chester A. Olson
Donald E. Olson
Harold R. Olson
Kenneth M. Olson
Four brothers:
Arthur, George, Ben O, and Ole Olson
Sisters: Mrs. Harry Lee
Mrs. Christ Bendixson
Mrs. Lewis Knutson
Brother Melvin and sister, Mrs. Hjalmer Olson preceded her in death.
She was a member of the First Lutheran church
Funeral will be held Friday, at 1:30 p.m. at the First Lutheran church.
