Ben O. Evenson, 307 W. College Street, died Wednesday morning in Naeve Hospital at the age of 65.
He had been ill for two years and death was due to complications of a heart ailment.
He was born October 15, 1891 in New Richland, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernt Evenson.
He lived in New Richland for 14 years and the rest of his life in Albert Lea.
He was married to Amy Frost , November 3, 1919 in Albert Lea.
He attended school in Hartland.
He owned the Home Cafe for 23 years and was part manager of Rivoli Theater for five years.
He was amember of First Methodist Church and American Legion.
Survivors are:

Two daughters
Mrs. Donna Clark
Phil (LaVon) Paulson
One son:Kenneth Johnson ,from previous marriage
5 grandchildren.
Three brothers: Ole, Art and George
Three sisters:
Mrs. Harry ( Gina) Lee
Mrs. Lewis ( Emma) Knutson
Mrs. Chris (Elsie) Bendixen
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in First Methodist church.
Burial at Lakewood cemetery.
Graveside services by honor guard.
