He was united in marriage to Selma Peterson, January 2, 1928 and to this union were born three sons, William Ray, 16, Robert Lee, 14, and Michael Christopher, 6.
Besides his wife and sons, he leaves to mourn his passing his mother, Mrs. Charlie Leonard of Melrose, 4 sisters, Mrs. Ed Lahart of Tyrone, Mrs. Walter Feehan of Chillocothe, Mrs. John Carr of Weller, Mrs. Everett Carlo of Ottumwa; 4 brothers, Walter of Melrose, Frank in service in Panama, Edward of Ottumwa, Michael of Melrose; and a host of other relatives and friends.
