MICHAEL JOSEPH JUDGE

Michael Joseph Judge, 75, of Ottumwa, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1992 at the Mahaska Manor Nursing Home in Oskaloosa.

He was born Jan. 16, 1917 in Melrose to Michael Joseph and Ann Scieszinski Judge.

He was a lineman for the Milwaukee Railroad, retiring in 1975. He had lived in Ottumwa until moving to Oskaloosa in December 1991.

He is survived by a brother, Walter Judge of Albia and a sister, Agnes Carr Dawley of Oskaloosa. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Christopher, Edward and Frank Judge; and three sisters, Mary Lahart, Anna Feehan and Margaret Carlo.

Funeral mass will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oskaloosa, with Fr. Thomas McConville officiating. Visiting hours at Powers Funeral Home in Oskaloosa continue today, and until the Rosary is recited at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Melrose.
