Mrs. Joh Swager Dead
Jennie H. Dille was born in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, October 7th, 1847. She was married to Mr. John Swager, July 4th, 1868, at Milo Buren County, Ill. To this union five children were born, all of them boys.
She died suddenly on March 14, 1928, at her home in Stockton, Mo., being eighty years, five months and seven days of age.
She was converted and joined the Baptist church at Union thirty years ago, all these years she remained a faithful worker in the church till death called her to the heavenly home.
Five children, seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a host of friends are left to mourn their loss.
It was her request that the Rev. A. M. Weaver preach the funeral, but when Rev. Weaver failed to reach the appointment the Rev. M. A. King was called to take charge of the services. The service was held in the home and interment was made in Stockton cemetery to await that glorious resurrection.
