Lucille Agnew Davenport, 88, of Kailua, Hawaii, formerly of Waverly, died at 5:59 p.m. Friday, April 17, 1987 at Castle Medical Center in Kailua.
She was born March 17, 1899 in Pleasant Plains, Ill., the daughter of Theodore Hatten and Julia Tirzah Agnew. She married Frank Lester Davenport on November 27, 1920. He died in 1957. Also preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers and four sisters.
Mrs. Davenport lived in Illinois until 1967, when she moved to Hawaii. She had resided with her daughter for the past five and a half years. She was a member of the Waverly United Methodist Church, a 50-year member and Past Grand Treasurer of the Pythian Sisters and also a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are her daughter, Donna L. Mitchell and her husband, Wm. Delbert of Kailua, four grandchildren, Mark Mitchell of Aurora, Colo., Mrs. Stephen (Kelly Ann)Bouchard of Kahana, Maui, Hawaii, Kyle Mitchell of Kailua, Matthew Mitchell of Foster City, Calif.; one great-granddaughter, Nicole Bouchard of Maui; and several nephews and nieces.
Cremation followed with arrangements by Hawaiin Memorial Park Mortuary. Interment will be later in Waverly.
