Esther A. Peebles, 82, of Virginia, died Mar. 21 at Passavant Hospital. Mrs. Peebles was born Mar 1, 1897.
She is survived by her husband, Bird W. of Virginia and one son, Galen Woods, Fort Walton Beah, Fla.; two sisters, Lucille Davenport, Honolulu, Hawaii and Mae Allen of California; three grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Agnew, and one brother.
Funeral services were held Mar. 24, at 1 p.m. with Massie Funeral Home, Virginia, in charge and Rev. Arthur Webb of the United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Waverly Cemetery.
