Waverly - May Allen, 96, of Hermosa Beach, Cal., died Sunday night. She was a former Waverly resident.
She was born April 22, 1885, in Raymond, a daughter of Rev. Theodore and Julia Mitchell Agnew.
She married Charles Allen in 1909. He died in 1950.
She was a former president of the Waverly Woman's Club and the Morgan County Republican Women's Club and was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are a son, William Allen of Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. Lester (Lucille) Davenport of Honolulu; a grandson, William A. Allen.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Waverly East Cemetery.
