Taylor H. Agnes, of Jacksonville, and formerly a Waverly resident, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 1:15 p.m., at Our Saviour's hospital, where he had been a patient for 12 days.

Deceased was born at Auburn, July 21, 1893, a son of the late Rev. T. H. and Julia Mitchell Agnew.

On August 10, 1921, he was married to Miss Jessie Spaenhower. He is survived by his wife and the following sisters: Mrs. Bird Peebles of Virginia, Mrs. Lester Davenport of Springfield, Mrs. Betty Tanner of Laguna Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Charles Allen of Jacksonville. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers.

For thirty years he was employed by the Burlington Railroad. At the time of his death he was night clerk at the Douglas hotel in Jacksonville. He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the V.F.W.

Funeral services were held at the Gillham Funeral Home in Jacksonville Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev, Ralph Fitch, pastor of the Waverly Methodist church, officiating.

Burial was in East cemetery, at Waverly.
