Emma Max, 83, Breckenridge, died Monday, May 12, at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 16, at Breckenridge Lutheran Church with Rev. Eugene Floistad officiating. Burial will be in Burau Cemetery, Foxhome.
Born Oct. 28, 1896, in Akron Township, near Rothsay, she
was the daughter of Carl and Louise (Reiman) Max. She
moved to Breckenridge where she was employed by the
Breckenridge Telephone Company for many years and later
worked for Jorgenson's Variety Store at Wahpeton.
Visitation begins at 3:30 P.m. Thursday, continuing through the evening, at Joseph Vertin and Sons Funeral
