She was born Oct. 27, 1905, to Carl and Louise (Reiman) Max at Akron Township in Wilkin County. She attended country school in Wilkin County and worked on the family farm. In 1974, she moved to Breckenridge, where she lived with her brothers and sisters. She moved to the Wahpeton Health Care Center in 1993.
She was a member of the Breckenridge Lutheran Church and the Breckenridge Lutheran Community Women.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Emma, Louise, Lena, Ida and one sister who died in infancy; and three brothers, Ed, Charlie and Henry.
Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Joseph Vertin and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Breckenridge
