Louise Barringer, 82, Breckenridge, died Sunday at her home. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday. March 17, at Breckenridge Lutheran Church with Rev. Eugene Floistad officiating. Burial will be in Burau Cemetery, Foxhome.
Born Aug. 8, 1899, in Akron Township near Rothsay, she was the daughter of Carl and Louise Max. She attended local rural school.
On Sept, 29, 1925, she married Wilfred Barringer at Breckenridge. The couple farmed in Akron Township until moving to Breckenridge in 1951.
She worked at Uncle Jim's Caffe there for a number of years. Her husband died in 1976.
Survivors include a son Lyle, Rothsay; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers, Ida, Clara, Edward and Otto Max, all of Breckenridge.
Visitation begins at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Joseph Vertin and Sons Funeral Home Breckenridge, continuing one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
