Ervin ( Red ) was the son of Charles and Elizabeth Strader Bell. He was one of 14 children born of this union. Ervin married Lurabelle Wilfong on December 7th, 1928 in Paris, IL. They had four children--Joy Bell Shepherd, Richard Bell, Betty Bell Hughes, and Judy Bell. Ervin retired from the General Motors Central Foundry Div. in Danville, IL. After his retirement, he and Belle traveled quite a bit. Ervin died of cancer in Nov. 1997.
