Sarah Elizabeth (Lizzy) Strader Bell, was the daughter of George Wesley (Doc) and Mary Luvina Hopper Strader. She was born December 23, 1886 on the old homestead in Greenup, IL. She married Charles Clinton Bell, the youngest son of Henry Harrison and Amanda J. Barnes Bell, on February 10, 1904. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Jonathon L. Wright.

Together they had 14 children; Milo Melvin, Clyde Harrison, Clarence Olen, Ervin C., Mildred Irene (James), Margaret Evelyn, Marjorie Charlotte "Pet" Houser, Charles Carlyle, Mabel Ellen (Moomaw, Wilfong) Hummel. Robert Donald, Mary Elizabeth (Williams, Heath) Hart, a set of twins-Chester C. and Carl C., and Minnie Mae (Peavler) Brown.

Grandma had become ill with cancer and in July of 1962, she entered the Peters Rest Shelter in Greenup, IL. She died there on November 9, 1962. Her funeral was at the Brewer Funeral Home in Ridgefarm, IL. on November 11th with burial at her husbands side in Crown Hill Cemetery in Ridgefarm, IL.

Grandma and Grandpa had many grandchildren and great grandchildre. They are sadly missed.
