There will be a private family visitation from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Private family services will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Hahs officiating. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.
She married Richard Peavler of Georgetown, Illinois, on January 26, 1945. They had four children: Steven Peavler of Indiana, Donna Hahs of Linclon, Illinois, Mike Peavler of Olney, Illinois and Debbie Perrigan, of Arkansas. Minnie later married Albert Wayne Brown of Olney, Illinois on April 19, 1968. She then became the proud mother of Wayne's two children: Stanley Wayne Brown of Pennsylvania, and Darlene Jones of Belleview, Illinois. Minne had 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Minnie was the youngest of 14 children born to Charles Clinton and Sarah Elizabeth Strader Bell. She is survived by one living sister, Margaret Bell of Champaign, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, 8 brothers, 4 sisters and one grand-daughter.
Minnie was a homemaker and made lemon pies that were out of this world.
